This is one of the best compound exercises- that means it works an entire body group. Getting proper squat form is incredibly important.  Almost 75% of women have improper form and so they don't get the full benefit of the squat.  This is a GREAT booty builder!  Stand with you legs shoulder apart, back arched. Lower yourself down, keeping you back arched. Don't let you knees pass your toes. Drop until your quads are parallel to the ground and your legs are at about 90 degrees. Push off with your heels. If you are on your toes, you'll work mostly your quads and not enough of your hamstrings.  The best squats, and the one that will yield the most results are ASS TO GRASS squats- drop your butt as low as possible.  Then raise yourself back up. That's one rep.  Do 4 sets of 15 reps.  Once this is done with ease, add weights.  THe higher the weight, while keeping proper form, the greater and faster the results you will yield.  Since form is incredibly important to me, I had my Personal Trainer, James Nguyen, show you the proper squat.

    Legs, Calves, and Glutes

    Treat your legs as one unit. Work on every part. Too much work on one part of your body will make you uneven. There IS a such thing as too much booty ;) you need Hammies to support the weight!
